Each year a very special event in the life of a dairy producer comes. To me, it’s Christmas in September and October. You might be asking what in the world that day is? Well, it’s World Dairy Expo of course!
Each year thousands of dairy cows, farmers and lovers of dairy products congregate to Madison, Wisconsin for the event of the year. Thousands of dairy cows grace the themed show ring. Hundreds of dairy farmers question and visit in the trade show. Pounds of cheese and ice cream and gallons of milk are consumed at the Alliant Energy Center.
I am thrilled to announce that I am leaving for World Dairy Expo early tomorrow morning! I will be reporting via my iPad for the 3 days I will be there. So stay tuned for all the updates. O
