My life is extremely influenced by agriculture and dairy in specific. But I am more than just cows! I have hobbies, just like all of you. For example, I am an avid scrapper (a.k.a. scrapbooking) and I love to cook. Lately, I have been taking both of these loves and combining them. I am making a cookbook of my favorite family recipes, I will give updates on my progress for those of you who are interested.
Some of the other things I am passionate about relates closely to this blog. I love being an advocate for a cause I am passionate about.

They have little fat and calories as well. I served for 2 years as a county queen and state alternate queen representing the dry edible bean industry.
Did you know that Michigan is in the top 10 in the nation for several different varieties of dry beans and is #2 in total dry bean production.
The U.S. produces 15 different varieties of dry edible beans.
The majority of Huron County, Michigan Black Beans are exported to Mexico!
