For my second weekly poll I would like to talk about one of my favorite foods. This food is the reason why I am not as skinny as I used to be and it holds a special place in my heart. What food is this? Nothing other than cheese, one of the greatest food gifts we have.
One of my favorite types of cheeses is something spreadable. It’s a healthy, delicious snack to put a spreadable cheese on crackers. It’s filling but not too many calories. The spreadable cheese I’ve been eating a lot is Laughing Cow. It’s a light, young mozzarella that you can get in lots of different flavors.
My favorite cheese in the world comes from my alma mater, Michigan State University. The cheese is called Dagano and was developed at the university in 1961. It was intended to be another type of cheese similar to Swiss. It’s actually becomes holey like swiss cheese, but it has a stronger, sharper taste. If you’re interested in ordering some click here.
My poll deals with cheese this week, as you can guess. I am wondering what if your favorite way to eat cheese? Personally, I love to eat it in plane slices! I owe a big thanks to everyone that voted last week and I hope you all enjoy this week’s poll.

Hey Ester! We’ve got our own Netherland cheese right here in WISCONSIN! Your ex-pat, Marieke Penterman, makes Netherland Gouda cheese on her Wisconsin farm. And guess what? For the past two World Championship Cheese Contests, she’s won blue ribbons for her Goudas! Yes, we’re livin’ the good life with our happy cows ‘n eating Wisconsin Gouda cheeses. Party ON! http://ow.ly/3503y

Yes, I am a cheesehead. I love cheese, Live in Gouda (The Netherlands) and make farmstead Gouda cheese. Is that cheesy enough for you?
