A shoeaholic is what I am. But if I could only choose one pair of shoes to wear for the rest of my life it would be easy to pick. I would choose my cowboy boots without a second thought.
Although I am a lover of high heels, flip flops and ballet flats they do not compare to my cowboy boots. They have had been through mud, water, animal manure and they’ve even had some beer spilled on them. They’ve been worn with dresses, suits and jeans. I’ve stubbed them on stairs and cows have stepped on them.
They’ve been there for more stories than I can recount. The cowboy boot has been such a strong representation of rural and country life that I felt it was something I wanted to talk about. While I was cleaning my boots the other night I couldn’t help by smile when I thought of everything they’ve been through with me.
The neatest thing about cowboy boots is that they aren’t just something that go out of style after a year. Cowboy boots are an investment and many of us will have them for decades. Tomorrow, I’m going to give you a post about the history of boots and what their purpose was and still is in farming!

I’m with you! I have at least three pairs….one for the ranch, one for dressing up with leggings or dresses and one pair of tan and pink {on the shaft}…….every girl needs a pink pair just because…….right?!

I don’t have a pink pair yet… But yet is the key word there. I am a boot-aholic too Nancy! You can’ never have too many pairs.

Ever heard that Eric Church song “These Boots”? That pretty much says all…

Eric Church is my FAVORITE artist! That’s where I thought of the title and the post was kind of based on his song too. The first time I heard that song I fell in love with it.
