Like I said on my last post, planning my wedding along with now owning half of the farm caused me to miss out on blogging regularly. Well, today I’m going to start sharing all about that Big Day! Let me tell you, I am so excited to share these. With all of the hard work our families and friends put in, the day turned out perfect 🙂
I’m sharing my professional photos with you and honestly, I don’t care where you live, I would HIGHLY recommend my photographer. Her name is Vanessa and you can check out her website here and you can Facebook her here.
To put the day into perspective, on Friday I had the stomach flu. I don’t mean , I have a stomach ache and don’t feel good. I mean I slept most o f the day until I had to force myself to go to the rehearsal and I was sick all day. Saturday, I woke up and I felt somewhat better but still wasn’t 100%. Needless to say, I wanted to be there and was excited about getting married but I was not myself. The makeup was just a very important part of the wedding, otherwise, I would have looked more like a ghost than normal.
Of course, the wedding boots are essential. My cousin is carrying in my boots in a boot bag! Eek!
Now, this gem is the dress hanger my mother-in-law made. It is wire wrapped with jute string. It was the most adorable hanger I have ever laid eyes on, but then again I’m rather biased.
Here is THE DRESS. The dress that ever girl dreams of wearing. She spend hours thinking about it, trying dresses on and getting it fitted.
A very important part of the day is making sure the flower girls have their Happy Meals. Happy Meals make for happy flower girls.
This is our niece and one of our flower girls Kaylynn. Talk about a cutie if I say so myself! It was a very cold, windy day on our wedding, so tights and cowboy boots were a must for the girls 🙂
My mom was being a wonderful mother-of-the-bride and tried to help me with my boots. But it didn’t work so well. Instead, I decided to be unladylike and put them on myself.
Apparently being a bride means you don’t carry your dress, everyone does it for you.
These pictures make me wish I could live this day all over again 🙂 Luckily, there are a lot more pictures to come so I can!!! Stay tuned for another wedding post later this week and a recipe too.

Thank you! I can’t wait to share the rest of the photos with everyone. I’m just dying 🙂 I was just glad that I could function on Saturday and I actually wanted to be there. If I felt like I had on Friday it would have been a miserable day!
