I’ve been very excited about this post! I cannot wait to share more of our wedding with everyone. Today I’m going to be sharing some of our favorite moments right before the ceremony and throughout the ceremony.
I have a BIG disclaimer, keep in mind I didn’t feel the greatest and thus I was quite emotional. When I was a girl I dreamed of my wedding a lot. But, one of the things that I always got nervous about was walking down the isle. There’s something about having all of those people staring at me made me nervous.
As you look as these pictures please keep that in mind. Otherwise, I will forever be embarrassed showing some of these pictures. But, before we get into the nitty gritty, I wanted to share this picture. Please forgive my cousin Jolene, she just had to adjust herself real quick before pictures started. Who could resist sharing this?!
All of the ladies were total troopers! It was about 30 degrees with a 20 mile per hour wind from the north. The fact that they took LOTS of pictures and didn’t complain was amazing!
The men are trying to look studly and mysterious I imagine. It worked, right?!
I am really excited to start sharing the details of our weddings. Here are our invites, we had a friend and groomsman design them for us. We are super lucky to know a great graphic designer! We then put them on the purple background paper and made the burlap ribbon band.
Our unity candle was my favorite piece from the florist. Although we liked all of the flowers they did for us, this was my personal favorite. Talk about stunning! If you would like to check out the wonderful people at The Flower Farm I would highly suggest them over and over again.
Our programs say, “To Have and To Hold to Milk Cows Til We’re Old”! The poem was thanks to my friend Dairy Carrie. Gotta love creative dairy friends.
Who could resist our adorable flower girls?! They did wonderful and had a blast as you can see. We were so lucky to have our niece Kaylynn (on the left) and the daughter of my husband’s cousin, Abi.
Now we are getting into the good stuff. Eric did wonderful, he held it together and looked studly through the entire ceremony.
These next pictures need to be in a quick order. You will see a slow and steady progression of the breakdown. Remember what I said at the beginning of this post!
Look at the relief on my dad’s face. I’m pretty sure he was glad we made it there. There was a time when he was questioning whether we would make it.
Luckily, there were no more tears from the bride and the groom. The ceremony was beautiful and went off without a hitch!
Don’t forget, our photographer is amazing and we highly recommend her! If you would like to check her out go to her website.
