I did not watch the Superbowl. I know, I am a heartless person. The only reason why I am sad I did not is because I missed this commercial. When I watched it today it brought tears to my eyes. I am sorry if you follow several different agriculture blogs because I am positive we have all posted this. But I had to share because it is so true. We do this job because we love it. The hours are not easy, the work is hard but we love carrying on this tradition.
I hope you enjoy the video as much as I did. By the way, I love Paul Harvey and I wish they would play reruns of him. I grew up listening to him and hating it, now that I’m older I realize how much he defined my childhood. A big thank you to Dodge for the commercial and for their support of farmers across the world!

I really liked it because it was more of a tribute than a commercial. Granted, it was Ram Trucks but it was very understated with the emphasis being directed towards the farmer. Very well done and thanks for putting it on your blog. Paul Harvey taught common sense and right from wrong from his radio broadcasts. Good ole fashioned wisdom, simple and to the point.

This can never be posted too much. It was touching and the world needs to remember how hard farmers work to feed them.
