Right now we are working on remodeling my office. I cannot wait to get into it and start organizing everything and decorating. I like all of my fellow 4-H friends that showed livestock have a ton of ribbons just sitting around my house. When I saw this project on Pinterest, I knew I was going to make one for my office.
I’m not sure about your local or state 4-H program but ours is always looking for ways to save money. The rosettes and ribbons I didn’t use in this project I am going to donate back to them, that way they can save some money and do more for the kids! For anyone with lots of 4-H awards sitting around, don’t be afraid to donate them back.
Now, back to the project. I was not sure how long this would take, but honestly it was super easy and only took me 20 minutes. The only thing I wished was that I had a bigger wreath! The end project looks awesome and I cannot wait to see it on the wall of my finished office.
This is where I started. Lots of ribbons to pick from! The majority of mine were purple but I wanted a mix of colors so I made sure to use all of them that were different colors and a few purples.
Next you need to cut the bottom of the rosettes off. All you want is the top part, except for a few rosettes or ribbons on the bottom. I kept 3 large rosettes for my bottom and the rest I used for the wreath. I started on the bottom and placed the 3 whole rosettes using my handy hot glue gun.
Admire your handiwork at this point… Or make sure it doesn’t look like crap or is crooked. I was worried I would manage to make my crooked.
I tried to place the rest of the rosettes so that they didn’t look perfect. I like the haphazard look to the one I found on Pinterest so I tried to give mine a similar look. Here is the final result!

I turned my old ribbons into a quilt by stitching the flat ones and rosette bottoms together. Then placing the rosette tops in different spots around the quilt. It’s not one for a bed but to hang on a wall.

That would be so cute too Melissa! I have two hangers full of ribbons still, ha ha. You will have to show it to me the next time I visit.
