With spring upon us I decided to do another edition of 5 Things I am Loving Right Now. For those of you who missed my first edition it was featured on the Housewives of Rural America site in March. With the snow long gone and the beautiful Mother’s Day we had yesterday I decided to do another one. After all, all of us country women are going crazy after being cooped up all winter!
1. 24/7 Glide On Lip Pencil by Urban Decay in Ozone – I bought this lip pencil during my Chicago trip in April and I love it. I bought the pencil on the suggestion of a friend and I was not disappointed. The pencil glides on easily and since it is clear it matches any color lipstick. Which is great during traveling because you only have to take one pencil versus several. It helped my lipstick stay on all day in Chicago. I ate and drank all through the day and didn’t have to reapply at all!
2. Udder Tech Pink Waterproof Bibs – I love these bibs. I just got a pair of them and I wear them for a ton of jobs. Their waterproof trait makes them ideal for a lot of wet, dirty jobs because they just spray off and are clean again! I love the pink color, but I wish they had a purple color (hint hint). The cows also love the pink because I cannot walk through the pen without five cows following me around licking me!
3. Lappljung Ruta rug from Ikea – I love this rug! We are working on finishing the office and you will see that I loved it so much it is a part of the room. It has a modern look with the geometric pattern which is exactly my style. I love mixing rustic with modern all the time and this rug is a great piece to help accomplish that. Of course, it is an inexpensive rug being from Ikea but it is great quality. I imagine it will last a long time in our home.
4. Seychelle’s Risky Business Wedge Shoe – I love wedges for summer. They are comfy and I can walk around in them the entire day and not have sore feet. Plus, they are so cute and I love these Seychelle heels. I’m thinking I am going to buy them right away.
5. nails inc nail polish – I left my other black nail polish at a friend’s house so I had to order a new one to get me through. I was really thrilled with my random purchase. My other black polish has glitter in it and I love the little sparkle. But this polish is a sassy glossy black and I love it! It’s called Black Taxi which is reminiscent of my favorite city in the world, London. If you have a great, heavy duty top coat this polish will last even if you are hard on polish like I am.

I am loving those bibs~~ Also that rug is pretty cool…. I am thinking I need to take a trip to Ikea! Did you buy it online or in the store? Also, dumb question but what is a lip pencil? LOL
The bibs are great Katie and they make kids as well 🙂 I found the rug when we were walking around the store and I had to have it. They also have it online because I looked. There are no dumb questions here friend. A lip pencil is worn under lipstick to help it stay on longer. You can line the outside edge of your lip or use it on your entire lip under the lipstick. It sounds dumb but it really does help. 🙂
