Note from Ashley: I in no way have gotten compensation for sharing my favorite products from Pampered Chef. Heck, I couldn’t even convince a salesperson or the company to supply a giveaway. Which might mean that my sales skills suck and that is why I didn’t last long in those jobs…..
Last week I froze some green beans and it was the first time using my hand strainer. Let me tell you, I loved using it and if you do a lot of blanching or even canning this will be worth the money. The strainer is something I got from a Pampered Chef party. I started thinking about my favorite tools in the kitchen and I realized a lot of them are actually Pampered Chef brand.
I do not go to a lot of home parties anymore, but I still love a good Pampered Chef party. They have so many useful, high quality products that I just cannot get enough of their products. Today I’m so excited to share with you the Pampered Chef products I cannot live without!
Skimmer – As I mentioned above, I blanch and freeze a lot of fruit and vegetables in the spring, summer and fall. I do not feel comfortable canning so I freeze instead. When you do that it you need something that you can use to get your produce out of the boiling water quickly and easily. This tool is it. It saved me so much time doing my green beans. I was able to blanch 24 or more cups of green beans in 30 minutes! I’m not lying to you because I timed it. Like I said, this is totally worth the $25.
Citrus Peeler – Okay, you may think this is a stupid little thing. Around the holidays our local FFA Chapters sell fruit and we always get a case of navel oranges. When you are peeling 2 oranges a day you fingers get really sore by the end of the case and you are looking for any way to open those suckers up without using your fingers. Or if you don’t have nails long enough, this will be a life saver. So just buy yourself one for $1.25 and thank me later.
Measure-All Cup – This cup will change how you feel about those recipes including honey, peanut butter or Karo syrup. That stuff is so sticky and so hard to get the amount you need out of your cup or measuring spoon. The Measure-All Cup will save you the hassle of trying to clean those out. Just pull the plunger to where you need, fill it up with whatever you need and then you push it out and just clean off the bottom of the plunger. If it is confusing please see this video I found below. It shows exactly what this can do!
Garlic Press –I am not a master mincer. Honestly, I don’t have the patience for it, but when you get big chunks of garlic in your food…. Yuck. Not cool at all. That is why I love this garlic press. You don’t get big chunks of garlic and it does an amazing job of keeping the scraps out of your food.
Batter Bowls – I have the Classic (larger) Batter Bowl and the Small Batter Bowl and I love them. With the spout they are so easy to use. One of my favorite uses is for leftover soup or chili because I can just pour it into a bowl when I want to eat leftovers. Since they are glass they can just be thrown in the dish washer for easy cleanup. These are versatile bowls with their measurements on the side and the handles!
Like I said above, I was not compensated by Pampered Chef to write anything nice about their products. Apparently, I am an idiot since I did it because I really just love their high quality products and couldn’t live without them in my kitchen. I hope you are willing to give one or all of these products a try because I don’t think you will regret it! Support your local business woman for Pampered Chef! Often they are woman who will spend the money they earn in your local economy.
