So I am so stinking excited that I get to help my friend Crystal from Crystal Cattle with the Fall Beauty Swap. I have been involved with all 3 of her Beauty Swaps so far and each one has been a blast, so I totally did the girly scream when she asked me if I would like to help her out.
So what exactly is the Beauty Swap? A) It is a great time. B) It is an opportunity to get to meet a great gal that involved in blogging or instagram or twitter too! C) You get to share your favorite beauty products with another person. If you would like to check out my awesome swaps, you can see them at Beauty Swap 1, Beauty Swap 2, Beauty Swap 3.
How does Beauty Swap work? Once you have signed up we will pair you with another awesome lady. You will have some time to get to know her and after that you will pick out some amazing beauty products and send her a package. Signup will start tomorrow (September 24) and will go through October 1st. The pairings will be sent out by October 9. After you get to know the lady you are paired with get your package in the mail by October 16! The Beauty Swap also has its own hashtag…. Because it is that cool. Make sure you use it often and liberally because we want to know how excited you are! The hashtag is #ccbeautyswap. Below are a few rules we have had to set up and we ask you follow them closely.
- Follow the Crystal Cattleand MessyKennedyblogs and Facebook pages.
- Email your partner within 72 hours of receiving your match. If you haven’t heard from your match after three days are up, let Crystal know and we’ll try and pair you with someone else.
- Be sure to ask your partner questions about their likes and disklikes, skin tone, preferred colors, etc. or maybe they want to be surprised!
- Each box should contain a min. of $15 worth of product. Please include one full size item. You may also include samples of products with your one full size item.
- Items must be new, unless you’ve discussed this with your partner. (Perhaps she loves purple nail polish and you have bottle you know you won’t use anymore.)
- Packages must be shipped by October 16. If possible it is a good idea to get a tracking number incase something gets lost.
- Once you receive your package create a post revealing what you received and link up with us on October 27.
- If you do not follow the rules you may forfeit you right to participate in future Beauty Swaps. Crystal Cattle has the right to refuse participation for any reason.
