Finding my Purpose in Life

I wouldn’t say I am lost. There are so many amazing things in my life. I love my job. I love my cows and our dogs. I have the husband I was meant to be with and love him dearly. I love my family. I have a beautiful roof over me head. I have the best friends a girl could ask for whether they are virtual or in real life.

I have zero complaints about my life, but have you ever had that deep down unsettled feeling?

That one that you can’t really explain or understand but it is just there.

That is how I feel now and have for a while.

I feel like I am close, but I haven’t found my whole purpose in life. I feel like there is a small piece of the puzzle missing and I cannot put my finger on what it is.

I keep rolling everything through my head and I just can’t pinpoint it. Will this feeling ever go away? Will this feeling go away if we ever have kids?

Will I feel fulfilled if I follow one of those dreams I have always wanted like writing a book or going after my dream of becoming a public speaker? I feel like I am meant to do something great and although I have done some great things I still have more room to rise. 

Sometimes I wish I would just see a big, fat neon sign. But I understand that life doesn’t work like that. On I go and try to find the thing that will fill that space.
