Note from Ashley: Younique just came out with a new formula. My formula is the old one and there is a possibility that my review might not be relevant. But like I said, I still wanted to share my Beauty Review.
A friend of mine asked me to do this review forever ago. So add up a crazy summer, being a farmer and being pregnant. Which means the barn and sleeping are my favorite places. That is how we got to this point. But when I promise something, I stick to it so here we go.
There is this new trend in mascara. It is an at home sales company and the brand is called Younique. Before I get started I will preface this by saying, I am not paid for this review. I bought the mascara with my own money. Also, if you disagree with me great. This is my opinion and I realize what works for one person doesn’t for another. So keep that in mind.
When I first opened the package for the Younique 3-D Fiber Mascara I thought the brand really had their marketing figured out. The packaging is beautiful. It comes in a box and it has two tubes included, because application is a 2 step process.
I have had many friends that love this mascara and as a woman with short, straight eye lashes I am always looking for something to enhance them. Being completely honest I was disappointed in the mascara as a whole. The first application was great and I thought I had found a new favorite product. The second application I was much less impressed and each one after I was less and less.
What makes your lashes look longer is the second step includes actual fibers that stick to your lashes. After the first application fibers get into the setting gel that you have to apply afterward. After a while I had to start pulling off extra fibers that got on my lashes from the setting get because made me just look ridiculous.
For about $29 a tube I didn’t find the Younique 3-D Fiber Mascara worth it. From my side by side comparison I got the same look from one coat of Dior Show with just one step and a few dollars less a tube. If I wanted a really dramatic look I prefer the $5-7 that I can spend on a nice set of false lashes and use them multiple times. After you practice and once you get application down, lashes are pretty easy to put on.
Have any of you ever tried the Younique 3-D Fiber Mascara? I would love to know if you agree to disagree with my review!

I have not used this mascara, but if you haven’t used Mary Kay Lash Love yet, try it! 🙂 … I don’t sell it or anything, but I’m in love with it! Brings out my lashes so much and every time is like the first time! 🙂

I get most of my skincare routine from a friend that sells Mary Kay. I use their traditional mascara for my day to day. But my friend keeps telling me to try the Lash Love! I will definitely have to try it soon.
